Stanislaus County COVID-19 Funding Allocation Survey

Stanislaus County Community Members –

Homelessness is alarming and the coronavirus has compounded the issue. Stanislaus County is anticipating allocations of funds as a result of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Securities (CARES) Act and other federal and state stimulus funds to address homelessness during this emergency.  As new projects and funding sources are identified, the Community System of Care (CSOC) would like your input to prioritize the path forward.

This email is being sent to the Stanislaus community to solicit input as part of the planning process.  In collaboration with other local funders, we are requesting your assistance to evaluate needs/service gaps for those at-risk of becoming or whom are currently homeless. Please take some time to complete the Stanislaus County Community System of Care COVID-19 Needs Assessment survey online.  Your responses to the survey will be used by the CSOC and the Stanislaus Housing Alliance (SHA) to determine funding prioritization for use of COVID 19 related funding.

In collaboration with the Stanislaus Community Foundation, the Stanislaus County Planning & Community Development Department is also requesting assistance from non-profit service providers to determine prioritization for use of COVID 19 related Community Development Block Grant and Emergency Solutions Grant Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act funding. Please take some time to complete the Stanislaus Community Foundations survey available online at: NPO Survey

The results of both surveys will be shared with the Stanislaus Homeless Alliance on May 13, 2020 and with the CSOC on May 21, 2020.  Both meetings will be held at their regularly scheduled time via teleconference and call-in information will be sent out via the CSOC listserv.

If you have any questions regarding this email, please do not hesitate to contact the CSOC at CSOC@stancounty.com  We respectfully request that you complete both surveys no later than Sunday, May 10, 2020.   Please feel free to forward this email to other interested community members who you think may be interested in completing the survey.
